Spring has Sprung, Sorta…

As I type this I am currently and finally on vacation. These past eight weeks have been an on-again off-again struggle and this week was no exception.
Monday started off surprisingly well: the weather was the warmest it’s been all semester. During our frees, a couple of my friends and I took advantage of the blue skies by spending more than an hour in Thabor. Soaking up the sun, we wrote poems, peer-edited each other’s English projects, met a man walking his pet duck (I kid you not) and had a little photo shoot to capture the arrival of springtime.

Or so we thought. Throughout the rest of the week, the photos and ever-fading memories were the only proof that it had ever been nice out. Bretagne turned out in fine fashion with countless freak storms, the occasional hail and fluctuating temperatures, comme d’hab.

By the time Friday rolled around, we were all more than ready for a break. Now that my lit corrections are turned in and my English project printed, I’m off. Paris awaits!
